Getting started
Yes. The Free plan gives you full access to the workspace with limited monthly usage — no card required, no time limit. Upgrade when you’re ready to apply more.
Annual plans save ~40% (Active $5.42/mo, Focused $11.58/mo, All-In $23.25/mo). You’re charged once upfront for 12 months. Monthly bills the standard price each month.
Major credit and debit cards via Stripe, in USD, EUR, GBP, and other supported currencies (selected automatically based on your region). Prices are shown inclusive of any applicable taxes.
Cancellation & refunds
Yes. Your access continues through the end of the current paid period. No early termination fees. We’ll email you 7 days before any annual auto-renewal so there are no surprises.
Yes — full refund within 14 days of your first purchase if CVSmith isn’t a fit. To request a refund, email us directly at support@cvsmith.app — we’ll process it within 2 business days. After the 14-day window, subscriptions are non-refundable for unused time, but you keep access through the end of the paid period.
The Free plan acts as your trial — full workspace access, no payment required. Paid plans come with the 14-day refund window described above (email support to request).
Limits & upgrades
That action pauses until your limits reset at your next monthly billing date — or right away if you upgrade. All other features stay available. Your current usage is always visible in the dashboard so there are no surprises.
Upgrade takes effect immediately — you’ll be pro-rated for the remaining period and get the new limits right away. Downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle; your current limits stay until then.
No. Limits reset each billing cycle. We don’t carry over unused capacity because it would compound costs and complicate billing.
Account & data
No. Your data is yours, indefinitely. Your resumes, applications, and cover letters stay in your account regardless of subscription status — we don’t auto-delete after cancellation, inactivity, or any other timeframe. The only way your data leaves CVSmith is if you delete it yourself from the dashboard. Cancel and come back six months later — everything is still where you left it.
CVSmith plans are designed for individual use — one resume profile, one job hunt. Team and family accounts are on the roadmap but not yet available.
Yes. Resumes (in DOCX, PDF, TXT), application history (CSV), and cover letters (DOCX, PDF) can be exported from your dashboard at any time, regardless of plan.
