This Refund Policy ("Policy") explains when refunds may be available for purchases made on CVSmith.app (the "Service").

Payments are processed by Stripe. Approved refunds (if any) are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
1) Strict policy overview
CVSmith is a digital service where access to paid features can begin immediately after purchase. For this reason, all purchases are generally final and non-refundable, except in the limited cases listed in Section 5 below.
This Policy applies to:
- Subscriptions (monthly and/or annual, if offered)
- Time-limited access purchases (including one-time 3-month access)
- Credits / tokens / packs (if offered in the future)
2) Subscriptions
2.1 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period and will not renew.
2.2 No prorated refunds
We do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods.
3) Time-limited access purchases (including 3-month access)
Time-limited access purchases (including one-time 3-month access) are non-refundable once access is granted, except as described in Section 5.
4) Credits / tokens / packs (future)
If credits/tokens/packs are offered in the future:
- Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable, except as described in Section 5.
- Any usage limits or expiration (if applicable) will be disclosed at checkout or in-product.
5) When we will consider a refund (limited exceptions)
We will consider a refund only in the following situations:
- Duplicate charge / billing error: You were charged twice for the same purchase or charged an incorrect amount due to an error.
- Non-delivery of access: You paid but did not receive access to the purchased plan/period and we cannot provide access within a reasonable time.
- Material service failure: A verified technical issue on our side prevented you from using core paid features for a substantial portion of the purchased period, and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable time.
If your request does not fall into one of the cases above, we will not issue a refund.
6) What is not refundable (examples)
Unless required by law, we do not refund:
- Change of mind or accidental purchase (e.g., you intended a different plan)
- Unused time in a subscription period
- Dissatisfaction with Outputs, suggestions, or results (the Service provides informational outputs)
- Purchases where access was delivered and the Service was usable
- Bank fees or currency conversion fees charged by your bank/payment provider
- Credits/tokens (if offered), except as described in Section 5
7) How to request a refund
Email support@cvsmith.app and include:
- The email associated with your CVSmith account
- The purchase type (subscription / 3-month access / credits)
- The approximate purchase date and amount
- A clear description of the issue (screenshots/logs help)
We may request additional information to verify the claim.
8) Chargebacks and disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support@cvsmith.app before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks are handled through the card network and may result in temporary suspension of access while the dispute is investigated.
9) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time by posting an updated version and changing the Effective Date.
